Description
Another amazing wine. Allocation one bottle per outlet in Australia, however I managed to acquire two. One for me & one for you & everyone else to enjoy. Made from the Nebbiolo grape. This vintage, the Barolo Mosconi has some extra ripeness. Flavours of cherry cream syrup, grenadine, watermelon candy & a drop of Pastis (a French aniseed flavoured spirit). The palate is very alive & the fruit feels very vibrant at this young stage. The wine ends on a powerful note with a balanced combination of fruit & fine oak tannins. It is aged for a minimum of 2 years in small, lightly toasted French oak barrels oak barrels & about in 1 year of bottle aging.
